Our story

Archpace began with one engineer teaching himself to build. Today it is a registered company that ships hardware and software.

  1. 2020Learned Java with Sketchware during the COVID lockdown and published a first app, Nigerian GP Calculator, on Google Play.
  2. 2021Returned to university and focused on engineering: machine design in AutoCAD and Fusion 360, and embedded systems on Arduino and ESP microcontrollers.
  3. 2022 to 2023Joined the team that designed and built an advanced Ukwa (breadfruit) dehusking and winnowing machine at Imo State University.
  4. 2024Built a power control box, the first version of Archbox, and won first runner-up and ₦1.1 million at the Tertiary Institutions Energy Contest. Archpace Technologies Ltd was incorporated in August.
  5. TodayAn AllOn programme beneficiary, with Archbox in development and apps used by 20,000+ people.
